New Delhi: The government has made a relief announcement for domestic airlines in the midst of a ban on air travel in the crisis of Corona pandemic. Now domestic airlines have been allowed to start flights on domestic routes up to 60 percent. Actually, this will help airlines companies to handle the constantly worsening economic situation.

The ban on travel due to Corona epidemic has had a very bad effect on these companies. All the airline companies are running at a huge loss. Earlier on 26 June, the Civil Aviation Ministry had allowed 45 per cent flight to start. Domestic flights were banned for nearly two months after the lockdown on 25 March. The Civil Aviation Ministry had allowed domestic flights to commence from May 25. However, only 33 per cent of domestic flights were allowed to operate on that tour.

However, on Wednesday, the ministry changed its previous order of June 26, saying that instead of 45 per cent, 60 per cent flights have been allowed to start. After the resumption of domestic flights in the country from May 25, the average occupancy rate is only 50-60 percent. Due to Corona, from March 23 onwards, under the Vanda Bharat Mission, special international flights have been started since May. With this, flights are also being operated under bilateral air bubble.
