IMD forecasts rain in many parts of country in next 4-5 days

New Delhi: According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rains are expected in many areas of the country during the coming five days. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is predicted in Andaman and Nicobar islands. There is a possibility of dry weather in most parts of Northwest India during the next 5 days.

Weather in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan will be dry. The weather in the morning and evening will be pleasant and the weather is expected to be cool in one or two places and mild warm in the afternoon. The weather in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will be cold and the day will be dry and comfortable with a drop in mercury in the mountains. Rainfall has started in many areas of the state including Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. An alert for rain and lightning has been issued in Jharkhand.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will depart from Bihar before October 10. According to IMD, most parts of North West India are likely to experience damp weather during the coming five days. Light thunderstorms may occur at various places in North Tamil Nadu.
