New Delhi: This time, get ready to bear the brunt of the scorching heat, as the Meteorological Department has released the forecast for the coming 3 months. According to this forecast, from March to May, neither will there be relief in the day nor in the night. Giving information, Additional Director General of the Meteorological Department, Anand Sharma has said that the forecast of summer has been released.

According to this forecast, this time the maximum temperature is going to be above normal, especially in northwest India i.e. Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Maharashtra, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and some areas of Madhya Pradesh and North-Eastern India i.e. Bihar, Bengal, This time the weather will be hot in some parts of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh. Anand Sharma further said that in Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, the maximum temperature is likely to be above normal this time.

Apart from this, maximum temperatures are also expected to be above normal in the coastal areas of Konkan Goa and Andhra Pradesh. With this, the temperature will be normal or below normal in other states. Anand Sharma said that the average temperature in February was also much higher than normal. For the first time since 2006, February has been so hot.
