New Delhi: Thunderstorms are likely to occur once again in the country's capital, Delhi. According to the Met department (IMD), western disturbances are causing increasing rainfall activities in central India. According to the Met department, north-west India including Punjab, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh is expected to start raining from March 21.

Light to moderate rainfall is expected on March 22 in northern Rajasthan as well as in several parts of Delhi and NCR. The maximum temperature in north-western India may drop by 2 to 3 degrees. According to the Met department, the maximum temperature can go up to 35 degrees even after partial clouds in Delhi on Sunday. While the minimum temperature is likely to be 16 degrees. Rain is expected from March 24 to March 22.

Air Quality Index (AQI) has been recorded in the 'Bad' category in the country's capital. While the air quality in Ahmedabad in Gujarat has reached a very poor category. The AQI between 201 and 300 is bad, 301 to 400 are very bad and 401 to 500 are recorded in the critical category, while the AQI of more than 500 falls under a very serious category.
