There is good news from the Indian Navy for unmarried players preparing for government job under sports quota. Indian Navy has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Cellar under Sports Quota. This recruitment is for the posts of direct entry pet officer, senior secondary recruitment and matriculation recruitment category. According to the notification of the Navy Sellers Sports Quota Entry, applications will be offline. The application has to be made through a form issued by the Navy.

Important Dates:
The application form has to be filled and submitted to the prescribed address by 7 March 2021. However, the last date of application for the candidates from far-flung areas of North-East - Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Minicoy Islands is till 14 March.

Pay scale:
Due to training, Rs 14600 per month and after completing it, Defense Pay Matrix Level-3 (Rs 21700-43100) 5200 DA will be available. There will also be insurance of 50 lakh rupees.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit:

Direct Entry Petty Officer (DEPO) - Candidates should have 12th pass in any stream for the post of this category. The age of the candidates should be between 17 to 22 years.

Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) - For this category post also, candidates should have 12th pass in any stream. But age should be between 17 and 21 years.

Matriculation (MR) - For this category, one should be 10th pass and the age should be 17 to 21 years.

Rules related to sports quota:
* To apply under these sports quota of the Navy, candidates are required to apply for Athletics, Aquatics, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Squash, Fencing, Golf, Tennis, Kayaking. Must have participated in International / Junior or Senior National Championships / Senior State Championships / All Inter-University Championships in sports like Roving, Shooting Sailing and Wind Surfing.

* The player of the team game should be played at the junior/senior or inter-university tournament level in the international, national, state level.

* Singles event - Must have been at least sixth in the senior level competition at the national level or third in the national junior level and university level competition.
