Let us tell you that the marine variants of the BrahMos missile will smash the enemy together with INS Visakhapatnam. The Navy has four variants of the BrahMos missile for firing from the sea. The first is the anti-ship variant launched from the warship, the second is the land-attack variant from the warship. Both these variants are already operational in the Indian Navy. The third is the submarine-launched anti-ship variant and the fourth variant is the submarine-launched land-attack variant.
The Indian Navy has deployed a launcher with 8 BrahMos missiles in Rajput class destroyers INS Ranvijay and INS Ranvir. The Talwar class frigates have been deployed in INS Tarkash, INS Teg and INS Trikand with 8 missiles. The BrahMos missile is also deployed in the Shivalik class frigate. It has also been deployed in the Kolkata class destroyer. It has also been successfully tested at INS Visakhapatnam.
