New Delhi: While giving information to the media on Thursday, the Railway Board has told that all regular mail, express, passenger and suburban train services will be closed till August 12, along with 230 special trains, trains for essential services will continue. The Railway Board said that tickets booked from 1 July 2020 to 12 August 2020 would be canceled. Only special trains will run till August 12.

Indian Railways has issued a notification regarding the time-table of trains. The notification issued by the Railway Board stated that not all mail, express and passenger trains will run till August 12, 2020. Railways have stated that all tickets booked for the regular scheduled train for the journey from 1 July 2020 to 12 August 2020 have also been canceled and the entire fare will be refunded.

Let us tell you that earlier in a notification on 15 May, the railway had canceled all the trains scheduled for the journey till 30 June 2020 and decided to return the ticket. On Tuesday, the Railways announced to cancel all tickets booked for regular trains on or before April 14, stating that it would soon initiate refunds for those tickets.
