New Delhi: Indian Railways is planning to start passenger train service from May 12. Initially, 15 pairs of trains can be operated. Later, there is a plan to increase it further. All these trains will be special trains that will run from New Delhi to various parts of the country. There are plans to run special trains for Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ranchi and Patna.

Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has informed about this by tweeting. Under this scheme, trains will run from Delhi to 15 cities. The train will also run from Delhi to Bengaluru from May 12. Piyush Goyal has written in his tweet that, the Railways is thinking about running passenger trains in turn. It can be started on May 12. Initially, 15 pairs of special trains will be run. These trains will depart from New Delhi and will go to different stations of the country. Booking of the special train will begin on Monday, May 11 from 4 in the evening.

Earlier, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal urged the state governments to allow them to send trains so that arrangements could be made to bring the trapped labourers to their homes in different states. The Railway Minister wrote in a tweet that, I appeal to all the state governments to allow trains to run so that migrant worker trapped in other states can be evacuated. After getting permission to evacuate the trapped migrants, they can be transported to their home in the next 3-4 days.
