New Delhi: Railways have issued a variety of guidelines for passengers traveling in special trains running from Tuesday to today and have given some clarification as well. According to Indian Railways, passengers will get food like airlines in special Rajdhani trains running from May 12. IRCTC will be fully responsible for this.

Actually, the railway has advised the passengers to bring food and water from home, so that there is no risk of corona infection. Even after this, if the passengers want to eat something different in the train, then they will have to pay for it. This will be the same as it is during travel in airlines. Canned food will be provided by e-catering on behalf of IRCTC during the special train journey. Its fee will not be added to the passenger's ticket and for this, separate money will have to be paid. Passengers will have to pay separately for the water bottle also.

The Indian Railways said, 'Passengers are advised to bring their own sheets, food and water, as they will be able to get only canned food during the journey, for which they will have to pay separately.' Railways have made special arrangements for cleanliness in every compartment. Also, passengers will be given hand sanitizer at the time of entering and disembarking the train.
