India has objected to China over the People's Liberation Army (PLA) allegedly torturing an Arunachal boy named Miram Taron. Miram Taron was reportedly tortured by Chinese PLA forces when he was held captive for a week.

"We have raised the issue with the Chinese side," said Arindam Bagchi, the Ministry of External Affairs' spokesperson. Miram Taron, an Arunachal child who was 'abducted' by Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) forces, allegedly suffered physical and emotional abuse throughout his captivity.

Miram Taron's father said that while in the PLA's custody, his son was subjected to electric shocks. "The PLA tortured my son shackled and blindfolded for nearly a week while he was in their possession," Opang Taron, Miram Taron's father, said. "He's still in shock," the parent stated. He was kicked and tortured with electric. shocks"

Miram Taron, an Arunachal Pradesh boy kidnapped by the Chinese PLA, was reunited with his family on Monday after a 14-day ordeal. At the Wacha-Damai border personnel meeting point in Kibithu sector, the Chinese PLA handed over the Arunachal youngster to the Indian Army. Miram Taron, 17, was kidnapped by the Chinese PLA on January 17 and held captive for a week before being handed over to the Indian Army.

Miram Taron was 'abducted' from within Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh by Chinese PLA forces. The Arunachal youngster was discovered by Chinese border defence personnel during a patrol in Medog County, Xizang, China, according to the PLA. Miram Taron comes from Zido village in the Upper Siang area of Arunachal Pradesh.
