Jwala Gutta, the World Championship medalist and the doubles gold medalist in the Commonwealth Games, got her help when her father Jwala Gutta got no help from the state and central government. The father fulfilled the daughter's long-held dream of opening an academy by selling all his property and his home after retirement. In the presence of Olympic medalists wrestler Sushil Kumar and boxer Vijender Singh, Jwala on Tuesday announced the opening of several sports academies in Hyderabad. Jwala said that she had been requesting help from the state government besides the center to open the academy after the Rio Olympics. The Center gave assurances but did not get help. When father Kranti Gutta retired, he said that he would help in opening her academy. After this, he has decided to open an academy on 55 acres at Sujata School in Hyderabad.

When Jwala was talked about this time, she told that whatever she is today, Dronacharya Award is because of Guru Mohammad Arif. She cannot forget him. She made Arif the mentor of the academy. She has not opened the academy due to any disharmony with Indian coach Gopichand. Gopichand Academy is also in the city, because of this there will be healthy competition, which will benefit the games only.

Jwala was suddenly dropped from the team after the Rio Olympics without any reason. She was not even informed about it. She still suffers from it. She says that she should have at least given a reason for this, but she knows what caused it all. She has not retired yet and will again pick up the racket for the children in her academy.
