The Indian women's cricket team has qualified for the World Cup 2021. This 50-over World Cup is to be played in New Zealand from 6 February to 7 March next year.
The ICC World Cup qualifiers were to be played in Sri Lanka this year from July 3 to 19, where Sri Lanka, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Thailand, Zimbabwe, Papua New Guinea, the United States and the Netherlands were to participate, but Kovid-19's In view of the outbreak, this tournament had to be postponed, after which now apart from India, four other teams have got direct entry for this World Cup.

These five teams made the decision to qualify for a place in the World Cup of Team India, the ICC Women's Championship Technical Committee has taken. Apart from India, the hosts are teams from New Zealand, England, Australia and South Africa. Australia, which won the T20 World Cup recently, is at number one position with 37 points, while England has 29 points and is at second position. South Africa has 25 points. The Indian team has 23 points and has made it to the World Cup by staying in the top four teams.
