New Delhi: In Delhi, patients who have recovered from corona are facing problems like breathing, dry phlegm, shrinking of lungs, body pain and lack of oxygen. To check the patients facing this kind of difficulty, the country's first 'Post COVID Clinic' is being established.
'Post COVID Clinic' has been ready in Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi. Rajiv Gandhi is the second major corona hospital in Delhi. In view of the risk of infection, this clinic has been set up in a separate building in the hospital, where corona patients are being treated. So far around 1500 patients have recovered in Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. According to information received from the hospital administration, many patients who have recovered from the corona in the last one month have called the hospital and complained of breathlessness and other health-related problems.
Director of Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, Dr BL Sherwal said that "A team of doctors from various departments will be posted in the 'Post COVID Clinic' which will examine the patients. According to the health of the patient in the clinic, counselling, yoga, meditation will be given. Blood test, X-ray, and city scan will be available here along with the lab".
