Washington: US presidential elections are proposed on November 3. The people of the Indian community living in America will also have an important contribution in this election. Meanwhile, the White House has said that America will always be a 'trusted friend' of the people of India. It reiterated that the US is excited to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
The National Security Council of the White House tweeted in the backdrop of India's 74th Independence Day, writing, "We congratulate our friends in India, who have recently celebrated their Independence Day." The Council's tweet was retweeted by US Senate John Cornyn. He is the co-chairman of the Senate India Caucus. Earlier this week, a senior administrative official of the council said that the Trump administration had increased the level of US relations with India and greatly strengthened its growing partnership that had not been seen in earlier US administrations.
The US India Strategic and Partnership Forum conference is going to be held from 31 August to 3 September. In which US Vice President Mike Pence and Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will deliver keynote speeches on Indo-US relations at a digital leadership conference. In this conference, discussions will be held on increasing economic and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
