According to the information, the Indian cricket team's tour of Australia later this year can start from Adelaide or Brisbane instead of Perth. This is because the provincial government of Western Australia has clearly said that there will not be any relaxation of the rules in their state.

A report by ESPN Cricinfo has come out in which it has been said that "Adelaide Oval is preparing to host two consecutive Test matches against India. Day-night Test matches have also been included. Melbourne Cricket Ground is unable to conduct the Boxing Day Test in view of the increasing cases of Corona in Victoria, so it will be conducted in Adelaide".

Apart from this, it is being said that players from India and Australia will go directly after joining the IPL team in the UAE. According to the initial plan of Cricket Australia (CA), the Australian team and Indian team who went on a tour of England were to enter Perth first. In fact, before the series, the two teams were asked to practice in Perth amid slackness in the rules of lockdown, but now the CA's plan has been changed inadvertently.
