New Delhi: A social media post on Sunday alleged, IndiGo airline workers refused to let an adolescent with special needs board a plane with his parents at the Ranchi airport on Saturday. "The child would not be permitted to board the flight, an Indigo staff announced. He posed a threat to other passengers. That he needed to become 'normal' before he could travel,' as per social media post.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Civil Aviation Minister, has promised "necessary action." "There is zero tolerance for such behaviour," he wrote on Twitter. This is something that no human being should have to go through! I'm doing my own investigation into the situation, after which necessary action will be done."

However, IndiGo airlines' staff denied an adolescent with special needs and his parents from boarding a plane with his parents at the Ranchi airport on Saturday sparked outrage on social media, prompting the carrier to make a statement.
"A specially-abled boy who was in a panic could not board the flight with his family on May 07 due to passenger safety concerns. The ground crew tried until the very last minute for him to calm down, but to no effect "In a statement, IndiGo said.

Video: People kept shouting and kicking in the plane.
