Mega 'Yog Prabha' event inaugurated by Scindia, VK Singh at Safdarjung airport

New Delhi: the Ministry of Civil Aviation hosted "Yog Prabha," a massive Yoga event Today at Safdarjung Airport in New Delhi.  Union Minister of Civil Aviation Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Gen. (Dr.) V K  Singh jointly inaugurated and conducted the event.

This massive event drew over 900 officials from the MoCA and its affiliated organizations/public sector units/autonomous entities. Yoga instructors from the Morarji Desai Institute of Yoga led the learners through various Yoga Asanas and Pranayama methods while also explaining the advantages of each.

The United Nations General Assembly declared the 21st of June as the International Day of Yoga in 2014, on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's suggestion. Yoga is an intrinsic part of our country's cultural and spiritual legacy, therefore its global recognition is a source of pride for us.

With approximately two months till International Yoga Day on June 21, 2022, during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Yog Prabha helped in raising awareness about the value of Yoga among the participants and would urge them to practise Yoga on a daily basis.
