Today is the death anniversary of the girl born to the country's first PM Jawaharlal Nehru on 19 November 1917, who was named Indira Priyadarshini Nehru. But, very few people know the story behind how Indira Priyadarshini Nehru later became 'Maimuna Begum' and then Indira Gandhi. So today, on the death anniversary of the country's first lady PM Indira Gandhi, let us know some important facts related to her life.

India is in our possession:-

Veteran Congress leader and former Foreign Minister Natwar Singh had made a sensational revelation in this regard in his book “Profile and Letters” (ISBN: 8129102358). Natwar Singh writes, 'I was in Afghanistan with Maimuna Begum alias Indira Gandhi. At night Indira expressed her desire to visit Babar's grave, so I reached the grave with her. I saw that Indira Gandhi said there that we are your heirs and even today the country is under our control. I was shocked and stunned. It is clear from this that, after independence, we handed over the command of the country to the same Mughals whose brave sons like Maharana Pratap and Shivaji fought till their last breath to save India from Babar and his descendants.

Expelled from the university due to bad conduct:-

Jawahar Lal Nehru had sent Indira Gandhi to study at Oxford University with great expectations, so that she could do some good for the country through education. But within a short time, Indira is expelled from the university due to poor performance. Apart from this, Nehru admitted her to 'Santiniketan' run by Rabindranath Tagore, but would you call it a coincidence that Tagore also expelled Indira from Shantiniketan due to 'bad conduct'. So, can the conduct of Indira Gandhi, who could not complete her studies from anywhere because of her 'conduct', qualify her to become the Prime Minister of the country? And they also know what bad behavior was.

Countless illicit relations:-

It is said that Rabindranath Tagore had come to know about Indira Gandhi's love affair, so he decided to expel Indira in order not to spoil the atmosphere of Shantiniketan. In her book “the life of Indira Nehru Gandhi”, Katherine Frank has thrown light on the many love affairs of Indira Gandhi, as well as K.N. Their relationship has also been revealed in Rao's book “Nehru Dynasty”. It is clearly written in these that Indira was in an immoral relationship with a German teacher in Shantiniketan, perhaps that is why Tagore expelled her. Later, Indira also had relations with her father's secretary MO Mathai, which Mathai himself has revealed in his book “Reminiscences of the Nehru Age”. Along with this, Indira also had illicit relations with her yoga teacher Dhirendra Brahmachari and former Foreign Minister Dinesh Singh. Mathai, who was Nehru's secretary, had revealed so many dark secrets of the Nehru family in his book “Reminiscences of the Nehru Age” that shortly after its publication, the Congress government banned it and all the copies were confiscated. The thing to think about here is that if the king of the country is so lustful and indulgent, then how will he be able to pay attention to the people, we have seen examples of this in the story of rulers like King Dhananand of Magadha.
