Indore: Due to the lockdown, there has been a profound impact on the education of children. After getting the green signal for general promotion in UG-PG course, now the concern of Devi Ahilya University has increased. The reason is that now more than three lakh students will have to be assessed and new results will be released based on the review of their old exam results. The university has removed the middle way to distribute the work. According to officials, each college will have to assess the students studying here. At present, the university is waiting for the guidelines of the Higher Education Department.
Colleges will have to make the current results by assessing the old test results, practical exam, internal numbers of students. Although after getting the guideline from the Higher Education Department, the result related formula can be found out, but the university administration has started preparations for the result. However, discussions have been held between Vice Chancellor Dr. Renu Jain, Controller of Examinations Dr. Ashesh Tiwari, Deputy Registrar of Examinations Department Prajwal Khare, Deputy Registrar Rachna Thakur, Evaluation Center Incharge Dr. Rajendra Singh.
It has been agreed to take help of private-government colleges in assessing students. There are about three and a half lakh students in the UG-PG course. This entire process will have to be completed in one and a half months. According to the officials, the process of first final year students' results will be started. The colleges will have to send the number to the university. After the result is created, the admission process will be started.
