The counting of votes from EVMs and those of postal ballots of Sanwer Assembly by-election will be done separately next Tuesday. The randomization of counting teams will be done at 5 am on counting day. The counting of votes will start from 8 am on November 10 at Nehru Stadium. The process of formation of counting parties has started. On Friday, 171 officers and employees were given training at DAVV auditorium in the first phase.
Counting teams will be given training for the second phase on November 9 from 3 pm in the auditorium. RK Pandey, master trainer provided training. He said that a total of 171 micro observers, supervisors and counting assistants have been appointed, including reserves. After this, counting parties will now be formed. After the formation of the party, the second phase of training will be held on next Monday. On the counting day, November 10, at 5 am, the table will be allocated to the counting parties by randomization. Counting of votes received through electronic voting machines and postal ballots will be done separately.
The counting of votes will be done in two halls of Nehru Stadium. There will be seven tables in each hall. A supervisor, a calculating assistant and a micro observer will be deployed on each table. In this way, the duty of three counting personnel will be placed on a table. There will be 42 counting personnel at a total of 14 tables. Similarly, there will be four tables separately for counting postal ballots. Each table will have a supervisor, two counting assistants and a micro observer. In this way, a total of 16 employees at the four tables will see the counting of postal ballots. There will be a total of 28 rounds for counting.
