Indore: Eid-ul-Fitr festive festivities in Indore remained confined in homes on Monday in Indore, which became a major centre for the spread of Coronavirus epidemic. This was the first time in 300 years that Eid prayers were not offered at a major Eidgah in the city. In this curfewed city, thousands of people offered prayers on Eid prayers in their homes and then exchanged greetings of the festival through phone, video call and social media instead of hugging each other.

Talking to the press, the city Qazi Mohammad Ishrat Ali said that for the first time in the last 300 years, Eid has come to such an occasion when the locks of Sadar Bazar Eidgah of the city were not even opened. Ali said that coronavirus is not a punishment for us humans, so what is it? The temples of every religion are closed all over the world. It is necessary that we maintain the atmosphere and brotherhood of humanity.

Meanwhile, top officials of the police and administration visited the city Qazi's house and wished him on Eid-ul-Fitr. However, during this time also the city Kazi and officers were seen following the instructions of social distancing.
