Indore: A major accident took place in Madhya Pradesh's Indore city late on Friday night. A fire broke out in a three-storey building in the Vijay Nagar police station area. The fire was so dangerous that seven people were burnt alive while 8 people were seriously charred to death. All the injured persons have been admitted to MY Hospital. The incident took place in the Swarnabagh locality of Vijay Nagar. It is being said that late in the night suddenly smoke started coming out of the building, and until people could understand something, the fire took a huge form. The fire was immediately reported by the locals to the fire department. The fire tenders that reached the spot got the fire under control after a lot of hard work but by then it was too late. Seven persons inside the building were burnt alive.

The officials who rushed to the spot after receiving the information of the same fire have started an investigation into the cause of the fire. At present, a short circuit is being cited as the cause of the fire in the preliminary investigation. On the other hand, after the fire was reported, people from nearby houses and buildings came out on the road. However, there was no report of any damage to the nearby houses or the building due to the fire. is. It is being said that all of those who died were tenants. It is being said that after getting information from the fire department, the team which reached the spot could find control over the fire after three hours of hard work. When the police and firefighters reached inside the building, they found five people dead, while five of the injured were evacuated and rushed to the hospital. Two people died due to treatment in the hospital. According to the police, most of the dead are tenants. At present, efforts are being made to identify the deceased.
