Indore: The results of the Cleanliness Survey will be declared on Saturday. The event will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Indore will be declared as the cleanest city in India for the fifth consecutive period. Indore will once again get the number one award in cleanliness. At the same time, for the first time, the Central Government had announced the Safai Mitra Challenge Award, which will also go to Indore. A total of three awards including a five-star category award will be given to Indore.

So far, Indore has been the cleanest city in the country for four consecutive years. All four times Indore has won the number one award in cleanliness. The hard work of Indore Municipal Corporation and Safai Mitras is behind this. The awards will be announced on November 20. According to the information received, this time three awards will be in Indore's wallet. Not only will the number one award be given in cleanliness, but also the Safai Mitra Challenge Award and the Five Star Category Award will be given to Indore. The seven-star ranking is given by the government every year, but this time five stars will be given. An amount of Rs 12 crore will be given under the Safai Mitra Challenge Award. Ministers, MLAs, Divisional Commissioners, Collectors and Corporators will visit Delhi on Friday night to receive the award.

The results announced under the Swachh Bharat Mission will be telecast live on Saturday. Special arrangements have been made in Indore for this purpose. Indore residents can also watch this live broadcast at different places. It will be telecast live at Khajrana Ganesh Temple, Ranjit Hanuman Temple, Rajwada, Palasia Selfie Point, Meghdoot Upavan, Near Rajendra Nagar Railway Station, Indore Municipal Corporation, Musakheri Chowk, Marimata Chowk, Kalani Nagar. The time will be from 11 am to 1.30 pm.
