In a tragic incident, a sales manager of a pharmaceuticals company was killed after a recklessly driven mini truck hit him in Bhanwarkuan police station jurisdiction on Monday. Unfortunately, even his helmet could not save him as the truck ran over his head.
According to the police, the deceased, Shailesh Shrivastav, was a resident of Kalindi Township in Bicholi Mardana area. He was on his bike when the mini-truck hit him in the Palda Naka area around 2 pm. He received serious head injuries and died on the spot. The police have seized the truck and registered a case against the errant driver.
Colleague Pankaj Gawali said Shailesh was employed as a sales manager in TTK Pharmaceuticals Company. Pankaj and Shalesh were on their working and they were on separate bikes. They were heading towards the dealer of the company for work when a truck coming from the opposite side hit him. He was wearing a helmet but the wheel of the truck ran over his head due to which he died on the spot. The helmet was also broken from the backside. After the incident, Pankaj informed the police about the incident after which the body was sent for autopsy. It is said that the errant truck driver was caught by the police. He is survived by his wife and four-year-old son. Shailesh hailed from Chhatarpur district and was staying here in a rented flat.
