Badaun: Five youths were run over by speeding cars on the Moradabad-Farrukhabad route under the Wazirganj police station area of Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district on Sunday, leaving three youths dead on the spot while two were killed in the accident. Others were seriously injured. Police has given information about this.

According to the information given by the police, the injured youths have been admitted to the district hospital. Senior Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma said that some people were running in the Wazirganj police station area, meanwhile, a car hit them. Sharma said that in this accident, three youths died on the spot and two others were injured. On the other hand, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Siddharth Verma said that the dead have been identified as Yogendra (21), Sachin (19) and Jugan (20). He said that all the youths were residents of Kunar village and were running as part of preparations to join the army.

On giving information, Varma has said that Dev and Rahul were seriously injured in the incident, who have been admitted to the district hospital. The police officer said that the driver of the accident car has been arrested by the police.
