Indore: Students are not going to schools due to Corona. Online classes of children are being organized. There is a dispute between parents and schools of the city regarding online classes, fees of students, and salaries of teachers. After parents opposed the online class, a school has sent TC to student's home. After this, the parent has complained to the District Education Officer in this matter.

Guardian Amit Sikarwal, son Prathamesh is a third-grade student at Vedansh International School. The school management had demanded fees in lieu of online classes. I opposed this and said that online classes up to 5th have been banned. So my son has not attended a single online class. On protesting the online class and fees, the school management sent TC of my son. The school management also puts pressure on parents to buy books and uniforms from designated shops. A complaint has been made to the District Education Officer in this regard.

Due to the lockdown, the condition of teachers is also getting worse. The teachers of Indus World School in the cantonment have not received their salary from February to June. The school management is also pressuring teachers to take online classes. The teachers have complained to the District Education Officer and the Non-Government Teachers Organization.
