Indore: Some Muslim youths attacked a Hindu boy and a girl from the Muslim community who were going on a bike in Indore, the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh. According to media reports, the incident took place on Thursday night in Chhoti Gwal Toli area. Its video surfaced on Friday. The victim youth has informed that I and my female friend had left Hotel Madni on Thursday night at 11 pm after having dinner. We were on our way to Regal Square. I saw that some youths were following us on two bikes. They stopped our car at Regal Square. At the same time, the boy told the police that on seeing me and my friend, 40 to 50 people surrounded us. They started arguing by abusing and started asking for my Aadhaar card. Told my friend to talk to your parents. As the dispute escalated, the mob mercilessly thrashed both of us. He was also making videos. Somehow we freed ourselves and ran away from there. However, the accused still chased and reached the railway station. They were going to beat us here too, But the rickshaw pullers saved us. At night I reached the police station with my family and got the case registered.

According to media reports, the accused also stabbed the young man and his friends who came to save him. After this they absconded. On the complaint of the injured youths, the police have registered a case against Shoaib Ushaganj Cantonment, Chavez Lal, Muzammeel, Amin Lala, Saif, Saif's brother Chhotu alias Arbaaz at Tukoganj police station. Police has arrested 6 accused in this case. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was informed about the matter on behalf of the Hindu organization. Taking cognizance, he has given instructions to take strict action against the culprits. The CM has said in strict words that strict action should be taken against those who take the law into their own hands.
