New Delhi: Indrani Mukherjee claimed that she has given $ 5 million abroad to Congress leader and former Union Minister P. Chidambaram and his son Karti Chidambaram. Overseas include countries such as Singapore, Mauritius, Bermuda, England and Switzerland. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a charge sheet in the special court in the INX Media case on Friday. The CBI also said that it has written a letter for judicial support to foreigners in this regard, whose reply is awaited.

The investigating agency has filed a charge sheet against four companies and eight people. In this, sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (cheating), 468 (forgery), 471 (signing of fake documents as genuine) have been imposed. Indrani Mukherjee has become a government witness in this case. He is currently in jail in Mumbai for the murder of his daughter Sheena Bora. Indrani has said in a statement to the CBI that she met P. Chidambaram in March-April 2007 to discuss the bribe amount.
