In the last 24 hours, 12,881 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the country and 334 people died. This is the highest case reported in the country in one day. A total of 3,66,946 cases have been reported in the country so far. Of these, 1,60,384 are active cases. 1,94,325 patients have been cured. The death toll has increased to 12,237. The gap between active case and discharge patients is increasing rapidly. People are recovering rapidly from infection. According to the news agency PTI, 52.95% people have recovered so far.

According to the Ministry of Health, the highest number of cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra. The number of patients here has been 1,16,752. There are 51,935 active cases in it. 59,166 people have recovered. 5651 people have died. 47,102 cases have come to the fore in Delhi. Of these, 27,741 are active cases. 17,457 patients have been cured. 1904 people have died. 50,193 cases have been reported in Tamil Nadu. Of these, 21993 are active cases. 27,624 people have recovered. 576 people have died. There are 25093 cases in Gujarat. Of these, 6103 is the active case. 17,430 patients have been cured. 1560 people have died.

According to media reports, out of 334 deaths in the last 24 hours, 114 in Maharashtra, 67 in Delhi, 48 in Tamil Nadu, 27 in Gujarat, 18 in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Haryana, 11 in West Bengal, 8 in Karnataka, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. In 6, 5 in Rajasthan, 3 in Bihar, 2 in Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh, 1-1 patients died in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Puducherry, Telangana, and Uttarakhand.
