Infinix is gearing up to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Infinix Note 40 5G, following the success of its Note 40 Pro and GT 20 Pro models. The company has officially announced that the Infinix Note 40 5G will debut in India on June 21, along with revealing some key specifications of the device.

Earlier in April, Infinix introduced the charging-focused Note 40 Pro and Note Pro+ smartphones in India, but the standard variant was notably absent from the lineup. The upcoming Infinix Note 40 is confirmed to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and will support wireless charging. Images shared by Infinix suggest that the smartphone will sport a punch-hole-style notch on the front and a triple camera setup at the back.

Specifications of Infinix Note 40:

While detailed specifications for the Indian market are yet to be confirmed by Infinix, we can look at the features of the Note 40 5G variant recently launched in the Philippines for insights. The phone boasts a 1300 nits peak brightness, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset based on the 6nm process, coupled with an IMG BXM-8-256 GPU. The Note 40 offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, it features the Cheetah X1 chipset, which monitors battery temperature and facilitates fast and safe charging.

The camera setup includes a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, along with dual 2MP sensors at the back, while the front houses a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

Expected Price:

In the Philippines, the Infinix Note 40 was launched at PHP 13,999, which roughly converts to Rs.20,000. However, it's uncertain whether Infinix will price the Note 40 similarly in the Indian market.
