New Delhi: After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the situation in the state has not been normalised so far and a large number of security personnel are still deployed there. Meanwhile, in view of Pakistan's stand on Jammu and Kashmir, the Punjab government has stepped up vigil across the state. According to the input received by the government, the Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba could be attacked by Fiadin in Punjab. The police force is currently deployed.

Sources say, the activities of some terrorists on the Pakistan side of the Pakistan-India border have been reported a week ago. Police chiefs of all the districts of Panjba have also been specially instructed and police have been deployed at Chape in the state.

Keeping in mind that there is no untoward incident or any other disturbance, the Punjab Police has deployed the police on the flats. Senior police officers have also been entrusted with the responsibility of zone wise security in Punjab.
