FB-owned Instagram has announced that it is now adding a new option to automatically translate text into stories. Now, if an international language is detected in a post, it will appear on the left side of the screen with the 'C Translation' option, which users can tap to automatically view translations below.

The same Images-Sharing platform said that the new translation feature will be available globally and currently supports more than 90 languages to simplify content sharing with international viewers. According to The Verge report, the feature, whose development was earlier reported by app researcher Alejandro Paluji, means that there will now be a similarity between Instagram stories and traditional posts.

Instagram is also working on a stories-exclusive feature with the "Exclusive Stories" function, which will be similar to Twitter's super follow. In 2016, Instagram added comments, captions, and automatic translations to user bios but failed to include the feature with stories presented a month later. Although the new feature can translate text, the company said audio translation is not available at the moment. Recently, Instagram announced that it is testing the ability of individuals to help on feed posts and reels called Colab in the country.
