The installation of statues of Adi Shankaracharya, Maharani Ahilyabai, Bharat Mata, and Kartikeya at Vishwanath Dham was completed from Saturday night till Sunday morning. For which a team of experts has worked hard. On the way from Ghat to Dham, Kartikeya is the first to be followed by a statue of Mother India and then a statue of Ahilyabai. Finally, there is a statue of Adi Shankaracharya. The steps of mandir chowk will not have to come down to go to the court of Baba. A ramp has also been constructed for him and a shed has also been installed on it.

The Kashi Vidyut Parishad is to preserve documents related to the history of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The Vishwanath temple was renovated by Queen Ahilyabai of the Maratha Empire in 1777 after the temple of Adi Vishweswar was demolished in 1669 by the decree of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. In the year 1835, Raja Ranjit Singh got the top of the temple decorated with gold, while Raja Ausanganj Trivikram Singh has also offered silver doors to the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

If we look at the important period related to Kashi Vishwanath, before Aurangzeb, Qutubuddin Aibak attacked the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in 1194. When the temple was renovated by a Gujarati merchant in the 13th century, the rulers of the Sharki dynasty damaged the temple in the 14th century. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple was once again rebuilt by Todarmal in 1585. Now, for the third time in 436 years, the temple has been renovated as Vishwanath Dham.

Where it has been found that the philosophy of Baba Vishwanath of Kashi is the only way to get rid of sins and after death salvation is attained. According to the Scriptures and the Puranas, when the world is doomed and the whole world is destroyed, Kashi will be the only place to be safe. Because Kashi rests on the trident of Lord Shiva. That is why devotees from all over the country and abroad come to visit the temple. A Shaktipeeth of Mother Goddess is also located in Kashi, due to which the holiness of this place is increasing even more rapidly.

Not only this but it is also said that at the time of the creation of the universe, in Kashi itself, Lord Shiva had given birth to Goddess Adishakti in the form of Nari Shakti from his body. This is where Lord Vishnu appeared. It is also said about Kashi that Lord Shiva himself holds his trident at this place. The land of Kashi spread over 5 koshas is called Avimukteshwar Sthan, which is the capital of Lord Shiva.

According to mythological stories, Rudra had graced Lord Shiva to make this place his capital. Goddess Parvati, on the other hand, feels like living in a Maternal house while living in the Himalayas and demands Lord Shiva to build her residence elsewhere. In that case, Lord Shiva built a golden city in Lanka, but Ravana had also asked Lord Shiva for Dakshina. When Lord Shiva established his base in Badrinath, Lord Vishnu took this place from Shivaji. Then Lord Shiva made Kashi his abode. Where it is said today that before Lord Shiva, this place used to be the place of Lord Vishnu. Lord Shiva himself as Kashi Vishwanath established Visvesvavara Shivlinga with his own brilliance. This self-styled linga is worshipped as Sakshat Shiva. It is said that when Lord Shiva came to Kashi, he was followed by the best deva sthals, rivers, forests, mountains, etc.

It is also said that this city of Shiva and Kal Bhairav admonition was included in the Saptapuris. Kaal Bhairav is also called the kotwal of this city and Bhairav Baba takes care of the entire city. Before the glimpse of Baba Vishwanath, you have to visit Kaal Bhairava and that is when the ego of philosophy is called. Kashi was named Varanasi as two rivers were settled between Varuna and Assi. It is said that Lord Vishnu, through his contemplation, completed penance for nearly 50,000 years by constructing a Pushkarni here. Bhairava is also called the Gana of Lord Shiva and the follower of Mother Parvati. According to historical facts, Kashi is said to be the oldest ancient city in the world.
