New Delhi: Today the National President of the National Conference and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah has termed the partition of India as a huge historical mistake. In fact, Farooq Abdullah recently said that the Partition not only caused the loss of Kashmiris, but the Muslims of the whole country had to bear the brunt of it. He supported the statement given by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh regarding the partition of India and said, 'The partition of India was a huge historical mistake. Not only Kashmiris but the Muslims of the whole country had to suffer because of this.

He added, "If this country were one, there would have been a strength, no difficulties, and brotherhood in the country. Talking about the reconstruction of Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the grand event held in Varanasi, the National Conference President wished good luck and said thars a good thing. Prime Minister Modi should also give importance to other religions as he is the Prime Minister of the entire country and not just for one religion. There are a lot of religions in India.''

Taking the matter forward, he responded to Rahul Gandhi's statement on Hinduism and Hindutva. He said, 'No religion is bad, but humans are bad.' He will hope that Hindus become real Hindus and follow their religion.
