Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab are facing each other in the 22match of the IPL Season 11 being played on Delhi's Ferozeshah Kotla ground. In this match, Delhi captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and decided to bowl first. KL Rahul and Aaron Finch took command of the opening from the eye of Punjab Punjab to bat first. Chris Gayle is not playing in this match and in his place Finch came to the opening. Although he once again performed just like his last three matches, he scored only 2 runs.
Rahul, who performed best in the last five matches, could not do too much and got 23 runs and became a victim of Plunkett. Kings XI Punjab scored 63/3 in 9 overs. Earlier, Rahul Dravid (23) did not play a big innings today. He was caught by Liam Plunket at the hands of Uran Khan. Punjab's second wicket fell on 42 Rahul and Aaron Finch started the innings from Punjab. But, in the second over, Finch (2) was thrown at the hands of Shreyas Iyer.
After 13 overs, Kings XI are 86/4 as Yuvraj Singh is out for 14! Avesh Khan picked up his second wicket.After 16 overs, Kings XI's score was 116 for four wickets. Aaron Finch, Lokesh Rahul, Mayank Agarwal and Yuvraj Singh are the batsmen who has been out.
