The 32nd match of the season 11 between Delhi Daredevils and Rajasthan Royals was played at Delhi's Ferozeshah Kotla ground.  The two most lousy teams of IPL 11 proved a quite exciting thrill. By winning toss, Rajasthan invited Delhi to bat first on his home ground. But Delhi's innings started at 9.30 pm due to rain. Delhi scored a mountain of 196 runs in 17.1 overs .Due to rain the overs cut second time from 18 overs.

Opener Prithvi Saw from Delhi contributed 50 , while captain Iyyer also made 50 and Rishabh Pant 69 runs. Rishabh Pant became the biggest contributor to Delhi's entire innings. He scored 69 runs in 29 balls. After this Rajasthan got a target of 151 runs in 12 overs. Butler contributed 67 runs in 26 balls. The entire team of Rajasthan could score only 146 runs in 12 overs. And RR lost the fight with 4 runs. With this victory, Delhi's dream to beat Rajasthan for 6 years has also been completed.

On a related note since the year 2012, in IPL history, Delhi could not win any matches from Rajasthan. Prior to this, the two teams had played 7 matches in the year 2012.Delhi did not succeed in winning any of these seven bouts. Dhawal, Gopal and Archer got 1-1 wickets from Rajasthan. Unadkat got 3 wickets. While Amit, Maxwell got 1-1 while Bolt got 2 wickets from Delhi.
