Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], May 2 (NT): A well and disciplined bowling style with good length display by the ‘Virat’ team of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) helped them to eke out a 14-run win in opposition to defended champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Tuesday.

Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the toss and was asked to bat first by MI.

RCB posted a total of 167 with loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs while with good bowling MI were restricted to 153-7.

With a tremendous win over MI, RCB brought to an end of their two-match losing flash and the result took them to fifth position in the eight-team standings point table.

With this loss, the defending champions MI have only two wins from 8 matches in leading board.

As Mumbai Indians came forward on the losing end, they will now have to be the victor almost every remaining game to have any chance of making it to the play-offs of the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL).In Match 32 Delhi Daredevils will take on Rajasthan Royals at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, Delhi in IPL 11.
