In the IPL 2018 today 35th match was played between Chennai and Bangalore in Pune. Batting first in this match, Bangalore lost 9 wickets in 20 overs and made a  tiny bit score of 127 runs. Southee notched 36 not out from Bangalore, while Parthiv Patel, who played his maiden match in the IPL 2018 today, scored a tremendous fifty . Wicketkeeper Parhiv Patel has been included in the team instead of regular wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock.

Parthiv put all efforts for Kohli's expectations come true. After returning to the outstanding batters to pavilion like Kohli, De Villiers and McCullum, Patel also made the 50  in his first match of IPL 11. Chasing 128, Chennai chased down the last ball of the 18th over with 2 overs remaining. On behalf of Chennai, Raidu scored 32 runs and captain Dhoni scored an unbeaten 31 runs.

Jadeja made 18 of his four wickets in four overs with three wickets in hand. At the same time, Wiley and Lungi got 1-1 in 24 overs with 4 overs to spare. While Umesh Yadav scored 2 and De Gronhom and M Ashwin 1-1 for Bangalore.
