According to the new instructions of the BCCI, now the IPL champion will get Rs 10 crore instead of 20. Similarly, prize money of 6.25 crore will be given to the runner-up instead of 12.5. The remaining two teams of the qualifiers will be given Rs 4.37 crore. After this decision of BCCI, all the eight franchises of IPL met for two days. According to sources, Delhi Capitals started this debate. After long deliberations, it was determined that a letter would be written to Board President Sourav Ganguly. It will be signed by the owners of all the teams.
