Abu Dhabi: Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Kieron Pollard, after sharing 67 runs in the last 23 balls with Hardik Pandya against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), said he knew anything was possible in the last four overs. In the 13th IPL match, the man of the match, caribbean explosive batsman Pollard played a stormy innings of unbeaten 47 runs in 20 balls.
After the match, he said, "You have to play according to the situation. The bowlers have to look at how many runs they can score per over," he added, "Hardik (unbeaten 30 runs, 11 balls) showed his strength. We know that anything is possible in the last four overs," KXIP captain KL Rahul admitted that he will have to take the field with an extra bowler. "I wouldn't say it's a frustrated defeat, but there's disappointment," he said after the third defeat in the current IPL.
"We could have won three out of four matches. We made some mistakes in this match. Hopefully we'll play firmly in the next bouts. We need another bowler or an allrounder who can do both batting and bowling. We will take a decision with the coaches."
