The entire schedule of the upcoming season 2021 of the IPL has been announced. In which the first match is scheduled to be played on 9 April between Mumbai and Bangalore, Chennai whose official announcement has been made by BCCI through IPL's social media account. Accordingly, on April 9, the first match is to be played in Chennai, and on May 30, the final match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On the other hand, talking about IPL's Venue amid covid, it will be organized on 6 Venues in India which includes Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Due to this, even in IPL, the rules of playing the match by going to the home ground of the teams and the home of the opposing team have not been issued.

After the league match, all the playoffs will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the world's largest. In which there will also be a final match. In this way, for the first time in the new stadium, the dazzling fans of the IPL will be seen. In this way, 56 matches of the league are played in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. There will be 10–10 league matches at all these places while Ahmedabad and Delhi will have 8–8 matches.

There are 11 doubleheader matches (two matches in a day) to be played between the tournament as a whole. Whereas teams will be able to travel only three times during the two-month-long tournament keeping in mind the covid. Most of their matches will be on the same ground. On the day of the doubleheader, the first match will be from 3:30 PM in the afternoon while the second match will be at 7:30 PM in the evening. As far as the entry of fans to the stadium is concerned, so far the BCCI has announced the upcoming season 2021 of IPL without closed doors. While this decision may also change after assessing the condition of the corona.
