Ahmedabad: The final of the Indian Premier League  (IPL) 2023 was on Sunday moved to the reserved day after relentless rains delayed the toss and subsequently the start of the summit showdown Ahemedabad  .

According to the rules, the IPL final has a reserve day, which in this year's instance is Monday, May 29, in case the game cannot begin by the cut-off time of 12:06am; in that case, there will be a five-overs per-side match. There are no such forecasts for rain for Monday, so a 20-20 over match is quite possible.
