IPL's ninth edition will see its first qualifier match today between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
Despite not so impressive performance by RCB, led by Virat Kohli in the first half of the league, RCB came fully performed during the second half proving they have the power to beat any team. And this time they enjoy the home advantage as well against Gujarat Lions.
On the other hand, Gujarat Lions have performed exceptionally well winning nine out of 14 games under Suresh Raina's captaincy.
Although the losing side today will have one more chance to make it to the finals by playing against the winner of eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders, both the teams are hoping to get a direct entry to finals.
