New Delhi: Well-known Bollywood writer and political activist Javed Akhtar is often in the limelight due to his outspoken opinions on social issues. However, this time an IPS officer has given a befitting reply to Javed Akhtar questioning the action taken by the police at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi.

Javed Akhtar questioned the action taken by the police on the students of Jamia University, who were protesting against CAA. After that, IPS officer Sandeep Mittal while answering Javed has asked him questions related to the Act and Section. First Javed wrote in a tweet, 'According to the Law of Land, under any circumstances police can not enter any university campus without the permission of university authorities. By entering the Jamia campus without permission, the police has created a precedence that is a threat to every university.'

In response, IPS Sandeep Mittal tweeted that, 'Dear Legal Expert, Please elaborate the Law of Land, the Section Number, and name of Acts etc so that we are also enlightened.' People are praising the reply of the IPS officer.
