Protests continued on Monday after violence in several places, including Delhi, in the name of opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Sunday. Students and local people of Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi performed for the fourth consecutive day. At the same time, after the violence on Sunday at the Aligarh Muslim University (AAMU) in UP, its spark reached Mau via the capital Nadwa College in Lucknow.

For your information, let us tell you that the students of Nadwa College made a huge furore by blocking the road, while roadways buses were vandalized in Mau, in which many passengers were injured. Curfew was imposed in two police station areas of Mau city. Orders have been ordered to shoot at the sight of the elements. Violent protests continue in Bengal. The protesters burnt tires and disrupted rail and road traffic.

Apart from this, late Sunday night at the Maulana Azad Urdu University in Dusri and Hyderabad, the students took out a march in support of the students of Jamia and demanded that their examinations be postponed. Students of Tata Institute of Social Sciences in Mumbai also shouted slogans of Delhi Police Sharm Karo on the streets. IIT Chennai students have also called for protest. Protesters in Jamia Milia Islamia shouted slogans against the Bharatiya Janata Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Delhi Police. The crowd of people coming from there increased. Due to this the traffic system was also affected. In view of the heavy violence on Sunday, the police had already made adequate security arrangements on Monday.
