America, the world's strongest country, has increased the fleet of fighters with the deployment of additional troops at its air base near the city of Al-Kharj in central Saudi Arabia. A new squadron of F-15E fighters has been deployed at Prince Sultan Air Base in view of the increasing threat from Iran. The number of American soldiers here has increased to about two and a half thousand.

According to media reports, America's top commander in West Asia, Frank McKenzie, visited Prince Sultan Air Base on Wednesday. According to Air Base spokesperson, McKenzie met commanders and soldiers and said that it was a major US military base in the area. . This air base not only provides great security to Saudi Arabia, but it is also complicated for Iran to target it due to the distance. Hundreds of tents and fighter aircraft lined up can be seen in this military base located in the desert area.

Tensions deepened in the region following the death of Iran's top commander Qasim Sulemani in the US drone attack last January 8. Iran has also carried out a missile attack on US military bases in Iraq to take revenge, which is why the US is increasing its military capability in the region. Two oil plants of Saudi Arabia, an important US ally, were attacked by drones in September. Iran was blamed for this. The United States deployed troops at Prince Sultan Air Base, seeking help from Saudi Arabia.
