New Delhi: Iran has withdrawn the statement, in which it was claimed that India's National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval has assured to teach a lesson to those who despise Prophet Muhammad. Giving information, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has told what happened with the Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Hussein Amir-Abdollahian (Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian). Let us inform that the Iranian Foreign Minister is on a three-day visit to India.

Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has said that this visit will further strengthen the historical ties and partnership of the two countries. Along with this, he told that there were talks between External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and his Iranian counterpart in Delhi on many issues, but during this there was no discussion on the alleged insult to Prophet Muhammad. Bagchi said that the comments and tweets of some people do not reflect the views of the Indian government. While talking to the media on 9 June 2022, Bagchi has said that, 'We have made it clear that the tweets and comments of some people are not the views of the Government of India. This has also been conveyed to our interlocutors and it is also a fact that action has already been taken against the commenters and tweeters made by the concerned people. The issue was not raised during this meeting.;

Bagchi was also questioned about the Iranian Foreign Ministry's tweet, which referred to the alleged talks between NSA Ajit Doval and Dr. Hussein Amir-Abdullahian in the Prophet Muhammad case. In response, Bagchi said, 'As far as discussions are concerned, there is a very good relationship between the NSA and the Iranian minister. I will not comment on that. But the social media post you are talking about, please check it once again, they have already removed the post.

In fact, Iran had claimed that NSA Doval had said during his meeting with the Iranian minister that he would give the harshest punishment to those who insulted the Prophet, from which others would also learn a lesson. A statement was also issued on behalf of Iran quoting Doval. But from this statement issued on the website of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the lines related to this claim have also been removed later.
