Irrfan was suffering from a serious disease named neuroendocrine tumor, though Irrfan Khan had also undergone treatment but could not escape. Irrfan Khan was unable to promote 'English Medium' due to his illness during that time, but he gave a special message to his fans before the trailer of the film which his fans still remember. The same message is going viral today. In it, he said, "Hello brothers and sisters, Namaskar, I am Irfan, I am with you today, even if i am not. This film English Medium is very special to me. I sincerely wanted to promote it with as much love as I have made it, but i have some unwanted guests sitting in my body, having a conversation with them. Let's see what saw the camel sits. As it is, you will be tipped off."

He further said in his audio message, "The saying goes, 'When life gives You lemons, You Make lemonade, it feels good to speak, but really when life holds lemon in your hand, it becomes very difficult to make screws. But what else do you have and what choice is apart from being positive. It is up to you whether lemon screws can be formed in these situations." Now after hearing this, all the fans of Irrfan Khan are getting emotional.
