The critically acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan finally back tto work and busy in shooting for Angrezi Medium. It is a sequel to his 2017 social drama Hindi Medium, in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In the film, being directed by Cocktail director Homi Adajania, the actor plays Champakji, the owner of Ghasiteram Mishthan Bhandar, a sweets shop. On Thursday afternoon, the makers posted a still on social media that has Irrfan sharing a hearty laugh with Homi on the film’s sets.
In this photo, Irrfan can be seen seating on a scooter even as he receives instructions from the man at the helm. Irrfan, for the scene, is dressed in a printed white shirt with a pair of grey trousers. He is seen sporting a stud in his right ear and two rings in his right hand.
Last year in March, Irrfan had given his fans a shocker when he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumour. Accordig to report of Mid-Day, owing to the curiosity around his health, the actor’s ardent admirers in Udaipur have been trying to catch a glimpse of him.
Angrezi Medium, a Maddock Films production, also features Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Pankaj Tripathi and Manu Rishi in key roles. The film will release in 2020.
