Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour (a type of cancer) and he headed to London for his treatment. Recently, The actor returned to India and is back to work. He has commenced shooting for Dinesh Vijan's Angrezi Medium. Before getting into his work mode, the actor shared an emotional note expressing his gratitude to the audience for their constant love and support. Not just Irrfan but his wife, Sutapa Sikdar, has shared a note expressing gratitude too.

Irrfan’s wife Sutapa took to her Facebook account and wrote, "Longest year of our life. Time was never measured with pain and hope at the same time ever. While we take our baby steps back to work, to life I am submerged in prayers wishes and faith from friends relatives strangers and a connection with the universe which gives us a small chance for this new start. It seems unbelievable …never ever I realized the meaning of the word unpredictable so well…never ever I could feel peoples wishes on my bones my breath my heartbeat which helped me to stay focused and kicking.

Talking about Angrezi Medium, it is sequel of Hindi Medium which has received rave reviws from the audience. The first look is already out and Irrfan is busy shooting for the same. He stars alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Pataakha actress Radhika Madan.
